About Us
Hello we are Elaine and Russ Jones and we live at Haus Anastasia in the beautiful Rettenbach area of Bad Ischl. We first came to Austria on a walking holiday with our children in 1983 and immediately fell in love with this beautiful country. Since that very first trip to Austria we dreamt of making this our home and returning many times in the intervening years only strengthened our desire to settle here. In 2007 we were fortunate enough to be able to make our dream come true and the rest, as they say, is history.
We both left hectic and demanding jobs and know how important holidays are. Your break from the working routine is when you are able to re-charge the batteries. So, no matter how you choose to spend your holiday, we aim to give you as much assistance as you need (or as little as you want) to ensure you get what you want from your break and have an enjoyable stay with us.
